How to Return a Ballot

You can return a ballot in one of three ways

  • Option 1: Mailing it back to your local county clerk. The postage is prepaid, just place in the mail by Nov. 3rd.
  • Option 2: Your county will have a secure drop box for you to return your ballot to. These locations haven’t been decided. Check back here for updated drop box information soon.
  • Option 3: Visit your county clerk’s office and return your ballot in-person during business hours.

Important Dates for Returning Your Ballot

  • If you are returning your ballot by mail, your ballot must be postmarked by Nov. 3 and received by Nov. 6.
  • If you are delivering your ballot by hand to your clerk’s office, it must be received by Nov. 3 at close of business.
