Register to Vote by October 5

Voting 101

It has never been more important to vote in Kentucky. It’s also never been easier. For the Nov. 3 General Election, voters can vote by mail (request your ballot here), vote in person early or vote in person on Election Day.

  • You are eligible to register to vote if you will be 18 on or before Nov. 3, 2020. Click here to register now.
  • Kentucky’s Voter ID Law is in effect, but if you cannot obtain an ID due to fear of contracting COVID-19 or due to closures at your clerk or DMV office, you are not required to have a photo ID. Learn more about voting identification requirements here.
  • Gov. Andy Beshear signed an executive order restoring the rights of many previously disenfranchised voters. Find out more here.

Volunteer

Help us ensure that every Kentuckian has access to the ballot by volunteering to be part of our Election Protection Team. We are looking for volunteers for a variety of roles, including virtual opportunities and observing ballot counting in person and at the polls to ensure every vote is counted.

    Welcome back.
